The short story: The North Florida women's golf team opened play at the Brickyard Collegiate on Sunday with a round of 312 to end the day in 8th place. Sophomore Sydney Shrader led the way with a round of 75.

- Senior Courtney Cobb shot a 78 to be in a tie for 34th while sophomore Teresa Conroy posted a 79 in a tie for 45th
- Junior Kaye Kwon had an 80 (T52) and freshman Mindy Herrick added an 81 (T60) to round out the Ospreys first round performances
