JACKSONVILLE - North Florida women's tennis picked up two victories including a 5-2 win against James Madison and a 4-0 victory against Savannah State on Friday afternoon at the UNF Tennis Courts.

QUICK HITS
- In the opening match, UNF took down previously undefeated James Madison (11-1), 5-2.
- The Ospreys (10-4) made quick work of doubles as the No. 1 and 2 pairs won, 6-1.
- James Madison struck first in singles, winning the No. 2 and No. 3 pairs, but a win from Rafaela Gomez knotted the match at 2-2.
- Florencia Rossi battled in the No. 6 spot and put UNF for good with her two-set, 7-5, 6-2, win.
- Senior Luise Intert came in with match-point and shut out her opponent in the final frame to get the clinch.
- In the second match, surrendered just 10 total games in the blank sheet as UNF went on to improve to 10-4
