JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida women's tennis team wraps up its home stretch as it takes on Houston tomorrow and concludes against USF on Sunday.

- The Ospreys picked up two victories against James Madison and Savannah State last week.
- UNF took down the previously undefeated James Madison 5-2 and shut out Savannah State 4-0.
- Rafaela Gomez and Luise Intert played in the No. 1 spot for doubles action and grabbed two wins against both teams. The duo is now 9-2.
- For clinching the match against the Dukes, Intert won the ASUN Player of the Week honor. It is the third time this year that an Osprey has won the award - more than any other ASUNÂ squad.
- Gomez picked up a win in singles at the No. 1 spot against the Dukes and continues spring play with a 6-4 mark. Â
- Freshman Florencia Rossi is now 8-2 in dual singles competition after a two set win against James Madison and a shutout performance against Savannah State. Â

- The Cougars are coming off two victories against Louisiana and UT Rio Grande Valley earlier this week and improved their record to 14-1.
- Senior Sveva Mazzari is currently undefeated in singles action with 14 wins. Â
- Sophomore Tsveta Dimitrova earned the 2017 American Athletic Conference Co-Freshman of the Year after grabbing a team-high of 10 wins and victories against ranked opponents. Dimitrova is 12-2 in dual singles competition this season.
- Mazzari and Dimitrova pair up in doubles play and are No. 65 in the ITA rankings with a 9-2 dual match mark.

- The Bulls added to their four-game winning streak after defeating UTEP on Monday and will face Cincinnati and Houston before the match against the Ospreys on Sunday.
- USF ended the 2017 season as the American Athletic Conference Champions and competed in its 13th NCAA tournament.
- Coach Cristina Moro was named Coach of the Year after leading the Bulls to their second conference championship title. Â Â
- Junior Nicole Dzenga earned the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament after her championship performance. Dzenga is 7-3 in singles play this season.
- Dzenga teams up with junior Vanja Klaric in doubles play and compete primarily in the No. 2 position with a 6-6 mark on the season.
