The short story:Â The North Florida women's golf team carded rounds of 299-296 to rank sixth following Monday's opening rounds of action in their home event, the UNF Collegiate, at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club. Sophomore Teresa Conroy (T16) and freshman Mindy Herrick (T19) both ended the day in the Top 20.

FIRST TEE
- Sophomore Teresa Conroy led the way for the Ospreys, opening the day with a 1-under 72 during the morning session followed by a 75 in the afternoon for a 36-hole total of 146 (T16)
- Freshman Mindy Herrick posted rounds of 73-74 to end the second round T19th at 147
- Sophomore Sydney Shrader finished the day T25th after rounds of 75-74=149
- Senior Courtney Cobb, competing on the course she grew up playing, shot a first round 80 but rallied in the second round with a 1-over 73 to rank T41st at 153
- Junior Kaye Kwon rounded out the Osprey lineup in a T68th with rounds of 80-79=159Â
- The Ospreys tallied a 36-hole total of 595 and are just three strokes out of the Top 5 heading into Tuesday's final round
