JACKSONVILLE – North Florida men's tennis heads out on the road for two more ASUN matches as it faces off with NJIT and USC Upstate.

LAST TIME: The Ospreys have shut out the Spartans in the last two meetings including a 4-0 win in the 2016 ASUN Championship.

- North Florida looks to remain undefeated as it enters its third week of ASUN action.
- The Ospreys bounced back from a 2-0 deficit to Stetson on Saturday and came back to win with Lasse Muscheites clinching the match.
- Muscheites is now 6-4 in No. 2 singles.
- In doubles action, Sahil Deshmukh and Till Von Winning lead the team with four dual match victories, but have hit a three-game skid as of late.
- Deshmukh continues to pace the squad in singles victories as he is 8-7 in dual matches and on a two-match win streak. In his primary spot of No. 3, the junior is 7-3.
OPPONENT NOTES
NJIT
- The Highlanders are coming off of a 6-1 win against USC Upstate on Saturday.
- NJIT has won four of its last five matches and Abdullah Fouad is on a win streak during that stretch to own a 10-3 mark overall including a 6-0 record in the No. 4 position.
- Richard Rangga is also 10-3 on the year playing in the bottom three positions
- The Highlanders are back-and-forth in doubles action as they own a 19-19 overall record. Rangga and Lukas Zvikas pair up for a team-best 7-5 mark in the No. 2 spot.
USC Upstate
- Upstate is looking for its first win in four attempts and faces Stetson on Thursday prior to meeting with the Ospreys.
- Francisco Neto leads the team in singles with six victories, but has hit a four-game skid as of late.
- In doubles play, Luka Eble and Felix Ewers have a team-best seven wins in the No. 3 spot.
LOOKING AHEAD
North Florida returns home to host Lipscomb and Kennesaw State in its final weekend of ASUN action. The Bisons come to town on Thursday, April 5 for a 1 p.m. match before the Battle of the Birds on Saturday at 4 p.m.
