Box Score ORLANDO, Fla. - North Florida dropped a 6-1 decision at UCF on Wednesday evening at the USTA National Campus to kick off a three-match road swing.

- Doubles came down to the No. 1 match with UCF winning at No. 3 and the Ospreys grabbing a 6-4 win in No. 2.
- In the No. 1 position, Jefta Kecic and Nilo Duarte fought in a tight, 7-6 (7-4) loss as the point went to the Knights.
- In singles play, North Florida got a win from junior Till Von Winning in three sets.

COACH LUCAS SAYS
"Credit to John and UCF, they were better in the crucial moments of the matches. We have a match point in the doubles and didn't get it, and I think we were a little deflated after that. That's where we need to mature a bit, and realize there is a lot of tennis left. In the singles, we had chances and plenty of deuce games, but at the end of the day they went and took those opportunities and that's the difference in the match. They are a very good team. I'm just hopeful our guys start realizing how good we are and embracing those right moments and taking those chances. We are motivated and excited to get to Baton Rouge and compete against LSU on Friday."
