The short story: The North Florida women's golf team opened up their spring tournament ledger at the Amelia Island Collegiate on Monday, finishing the 36 holes of action in third place following rounds of 298-289. A trio of Ospreys ended the day among the Top 15 led by sophomore Sydney Shrader in a tie for second at 3-under 141.

- Sydney Shrader opened the day with a 73 before catching fire in the afternoon session with a career low 4-under 68
- Sophomore Teresa Conroy carded the squad's best morning round with a 1-under 71 followed by her second round 76 and finished the day tied for 9th
- Freshman Mindy Herrick posted back-to-back rounds of 74 to rank in a tie for 11th (148)
- Senior Courtney Cobb improved six shots from her morning to afternoon rounds to finish Monday tied for 35th at 154 (80-74)
- Junior Kaye Kwon ended the day tied for 44th after opening with an 83 and then cutting 10 strokes for a second round 73 (+1)
