Box Score Jacksonville, Fla. – North Florida men's tennis outlasted Charlotte on Sunday afternoon to pick up a 4-3 win at the UNF Tennis Complex.

QUICK HITS
- After the 49ers battled back to tie the match at three apiece, it all came down to the No. 3 singles position. Deshmukh outlasted his 49ers counterpart in a third set to win the match for UNF as he won the tiebreaker 7-4. 
- Charlotte picked up the doubles point as it was a comeback in the No. 1 doubles that gave the 49ers the point.
- Sahil Deshmukh and Till Von Winning earned the doubles victory in the early going moving to 2-0 in dual play as a pair.
- Jefta Kecic picked up a victory in the No. 2 singles after his opponent had to withdraw due to injury.
- Von Winning came back from a set down to pick up a win at the No. 4 position and give the Ospreys a 3-1 lead.

"What a battle. Hats off to the job Jeremy is doing at Charlotte. It took everything we ha to get across the line today. I am proud of the resiliency we showed as a team today. This is the first time I've seen us uninterested in individual results and only concerned with  the team. That's whats college tennis is all about. Hopefully we can build from tis and continue to become a more cohesive unit."

The Ospreys continue a six match home stand on Feb. 28 when they welcome in the College of Charleston for a 6 p.m. first serve.
