OPENING TEE: The North Florida women's golf team made program history on Tuesday by sweeping the team and individual tournament titles of the Pinehurst Challenge at the Pinehurst Resort No. 6 Course. Junior Sydney Shrader earned her second career medalist crown.
ON THE GREEN
- Sydney Shrader finished with a 1-under 71 to capture the individual tournament championship by five shots, finishing as the only golfer in the field under-par for the event with a 5-under total of 211
- Sophomore Mindy Herrick closed with a career low 4-under 68 en route to posting the best finish of her career with a T3 (218)
- Junior Teresa Conroy and freshman Liss Davalos also earned Top 25 showings, with both golfers finishing T25 (225) after rounds of 76 and 75, respectively
- Senior Kaye Kwon rounded out the UNF lineup with a final round 81Â en route a T66 (236)
- The Ospreys fired a tournament best 290 on Tuesday for a 54-hole total of 878, earning a two stroke victory over tournament host College of Charleston
