Thoughts From the Top
"The girls ran a solid race today. We have worked hard this season, lined up and did the best we could do. At the 2K mark, we were in the position we wanted to be in, but we just didn't have quite enough strength to finish off the race like we had hoped. Grace Gumpel had a very good race and was able to handle the hills well and finish strong. It was her best as an Osprey. All around, I am proud of their effort. They are such a joy to coach, and I'm sure we will be better in the future." - head coach Jeff Pigg
