Thoughts From the Top
"Noah had such a great race today. He has such a good work ethic, and he pays his dues. I'm happy to see him racing at a higher level and his it's fun to see how his confidence has grown with the work. Nathan has been such a great addition to our lineup, and his talent and daily work ethic are fun to coach. We've held him back in practice with hopes he would stay on his game in the post-season. Rob ran the best race of his career. He has continued to subscribe to the work hard/live lean mantra, and now he is reaping the rewards for all of his efforts. Last year he was 12th in the conference, and that wasn't satisfying, so he did something about it. Morken ran another solid race. He tweaked his ankle last week, so we were conservative on this course, and he continued to move up. Christian Conder has finally acclimated to training in Jacksonville and has been able to handle the work this fall. Again, it was nice to see him rewarded with a strong conference race. It's great to send Nick and Fynn off with an ASUN Championship in their last cross country race." – head coach Jeff Pigg
