OPENING TEE:Â The North Florida women's golf team continued its solid start to the fall season on Monday ending the opening day of play in a tie for fifth-place in the BUBBA burger Jacksonville Classic at Marsh Landing Country Club.
ON THE GREEN
- Junior Sydney Shrader paced the strong performance shooting a 2-under 70 in the morning round followed by a 77 during afternoon play to finish the day T17 at 147Â
- Sophomore Mindy Herrick carded back-to-back rounds of 74 for a day one total of 148 (T22)
- Junior Teresa Conroy (75-76) and senior Kaye Kwon (74-77) are both tied for 34th at 151
- Freshman Liss Davalos rounded out the Osprey lineup tied for 53rd after scores of 80-74 (154)
