The short story:Â The North Florida women's golf team posted rounds of 307-320 in Monday's opening day of play at the Ocean Course Invitational. UNF ended day one in a tie for 13th place.

FIRST TEE
- Sophomore Sydney Shrader was the team's top performer, finishing the day tied for 29th following rounds of 74-77.
- Junior Kaye Kwon tallied rounds of 78-76 to rank tied for 52nd in her debut for the Ospreys, while freshman Mindy Herrick shot scores of 78-82 in her collegiate debut.
- Sophomore Teresa Conroy (79-84) and senior Courtney Cobb (81-82) rounded out the UNF lineup in a tie for 73rd.
