- Gurrola hammered his eighth home run of the season to left field with two outs in the second inning.
- Board led off the fourth inning with a single to right before moving to second on a sacrifice bunt from Rey Gonzalez. Gurrola drove in Dalton with an RBI double to right that extended the lead.
- J.J. Schimko put Upstate on the scoreboard with a double to right center field that scored Pat Raiff… Russ Schwertfeger grounded out to second base that scored Schimko.
- Weeks started off the eighth inning getting hit by a pitch and stole second before moving to third on a single from Board. Gonzalez plated Weeks on a fielder's choice… Gurrola recorded his third RBI of the day on a double down the left field line that scored Gonzalez.
