The Short Story: Matthew Naylor set the North Florida Division I baseball school record with his 82nd career appearance, while the Ospreys knocked 16 hits and topped Florida A&M 9-2 on Wednesday at Moore-Kittles Field.

LEADING OFF
- Every starting position player had a hit for UNF, while four players had a multi-hit game.
- Chris Thibideau hit 3-for-5 with three RBI and a run… Christian Diaz went 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI… Yahir Gurrola hit 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI… Chris Berry went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
- Thibideau extended the team's longest current hit streak to 11 games and has hits in 17 of the last 18 games... Patrick Ervin has reached base in 15 straight games he has played... Berry has reached base in 39 of the 41 games he has played.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
- Wesley Weeks led off the fourth inning with a double to right center. Thibideau drove a double to left center, scoring Weeks that started the scoring for the Ospreys… Gurrola recorded UNF's third-straight hit with a single to right center. Gurrola advanced to third on back-to-back wild pitches before Berry scored him with a sacrifice fly to center field.
- The Rattles got on the scoreboard with a sacrifice bunt from Danny Rodriguez that scored Kodi Russ.
- Berry drove a two out double down the right field line that scored Alex Merritt.
- Rey Gonzalez reached on a walk and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Mac Wilson. Thibideau scored Gonzalez on a double to left center field.
- Christian Diaz singled to the right side of the infield before he advanced to third on a stolen base and an error by the FAMU catcher. Blake Voyles drove home Diaz on a ground out to short stop.
- Brian Davis drove in Willis McDaniel with a double to right center for FAMU.
- Wilson led off the ninth inning with a single to right field before moving to second on a sacrifice bunt by Weeks. Thibideau brought Wilson home with a double to left field… Gurrola drove a triple to right center that scored Thibideau… UNF scored three runs in three-straight batters when Merritt singled to the left side plating Gurrola... Diaz ended the scoring when he singled to left field that scored Merritt.
