The Short Story: The North Florida baseball team scattered 11 hits and left 10 runners stranded as they picked up the 2-1 win over UCF on Tuesday at Harmon Stadium.

LEADING OFF
- Matthew Naylor tied the UNF Division I record for appearances while earning the save. The right handed closer ties Corbin Olmstead with 81 career appearances.

- Rylan Thomas smacked a home run to center field that put UCF on the board in the second inning and gave the Knights the early lead.
- Merritt led off the fourth inning with a double to left field. Berry drove an RBI double to right center that tied the game.
- Merritt delivered an infield hit that scored Patrick Ervin for the winning run in the fifth inning.
