HOW IT HAPPENED
- North Florida got the scoring started early as Chris Thibideau belted his 5th homer of the year over the centerfield fence in the bottom of the first
- College of Charleston answered back in the top of the second. After a pop-up to start the frame, the Cougars tallied three consecutive singles to load the bases leading to a grand slam from Ari Sechopoulos, his first collegiate homer.
- The Cougars would add a single run in the third when Tommy Richter's dying line drive to centerfield got past a diving Thibideau allowing the CofC hitter to reach third and then score on a sacrifice fly by Bradley Dixon.
- After a scoreless fourth inning, CofC would score runs in the 5th (2), 6th (5), 7th (1) and 8th (3)
- The Ospreys would notch their second run in the bottom of the eighth when Patrick Ervin led off the frame with a double off the right field fence and then raced home on an RBI single by Thibideau.
- Charleston would tack on 4 more runs in the top half of the 9th before James Fitzpatrick closed the scoring for the Ospreys when he deposited his first collegiate hit over the left field fence.

WHAT'S NEXT
