The short story:Â The North Florida women's golf team finished battled blustery wins and a competitive field Monday in opening day action of the fourth-annual UNF Collegiate held at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club. The Ospreys concluded the 36-hole day with a score of 618 to sit in 13th place heading into Tuesday's final round.

FIRST TEE
- Senior Megan Wilshire led the way for the UNF posting back-to-back rounds of 75 (+3) to rank among the Top 20 individuals in a tie for 16th (150)
- Freshman Sydney Merchant matched Wilshire's morning round effort with a 75 before finishing the day tied for 64th at 160
- Fellow freshman Sydney Shrader carded a pair of 76s and is just outside the Top 25 in a tie for 28th (152)
- Senior Nathalie Nygren (T58th/159) and freshman Teresa Conroy (T74th/163) rounded out the Osprey lineup for their home event
