JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis heads out on the road to continue ASUN play as it travels to Kennesaw State and Lipscomb on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.

Last Meeting: The Bison lost in yet another shutout in the ASUN Conference Semifinals.

- UNF is searching for its fourth straight undefeated ASUN season as well as regular season title under first-year head coach

KENNESAW STATE
- Kennesaw is coming off a two-game losing streak, but returns home where the Owls are 5-4.
- Last season, the Owls finished fifth in the conference, and lost in the first round of the ASUN Tournament to Lipscomb, 4-2.
- The Owls bring back ASUN Singles Second Team members Laura Hopton and Cristina Martin who both currently have no wins at the No. 1 Position.
- In singles, Alexandra Mercado leads the team with a 9-5 mark with wins in the No.1, 2 and 3 positions.
- Mercado and Elle Baker make up an undefeated doubles pair leading the ASUN at the No.2 position.
LIPSCOMB
- Over the ten years Lipscomb and UNF have faced each other, the Bison have only won three total points overall. The rest of the games have resulted in shutout victories for the Ospreys.
- In 2016, the Bison finished fourth in the ASUN and fell to UNF in the conference semifinals, 4-0.
- The Bison return All-Freshman Team member Katerina Kandyba who played at the No. 2 position in singles for the Bison and posted an 8-4 record overall at No. 3 doubles teamed with Hanna Victorsson.
- In singles play, Victoriya Dzyuba leads the team and the ASUN with a 14-3 mark in the No. 1 position.
- In doubles action, Denise Buberl and Dzyuba with a record of 10-1 leading the ASUN at the No. 1 spot.
LOOKING AHEAD
North Florida heads back to Jacksonville to host USC Upstate on Thursday, April 6 before hosting NJIT on Saturday at 11 a.m.
