The short story:Â The North Florida women's golf team finished Monday's day one competition of the Spring Break Shootout at Lake Jovita Golf Club in seventh place after shooting rounds of 306 and 300.

FIRST TEE
- Senior Megan Wilshire paced the Osprey lineup on the first day following her morning round 75 with a 1-under 71 in the afternoon to finish in a tie for 4th at 146 (+2)
- Fellow senior Nathalie Nygren joined Wilshire in the Top 20, finishing the day tied for 13th at 149 including the squad's best first round performance of 1-over 73
- Courtney Cobb and Sydney Shrader are tied for 38th (157) after 36 holes of play with Teresa Conroy roundin out the Osprey lineup in a tie for 44th at 158
