JACKSONVILLEÂ - Despite outshooting Jacksonville, the North Florida women's basketball had a slow close to the game as the Dolphins won 69-59 on Saturday afternoon.

- Classmate Maiya Rumph led the team off the glass with a team-best six rebounds, while also adding eight points and two blocks.

- Jacksonville lead 12-3 early in the game to force UNF to call a timeout.Â
- The Ospreys closed in to 18-12 on a jumper from Karrah Johnson, but the Dolphins' came back with bucket to close the quarter at 20-12.
- In the second, back-to-back baskets from Rumph pulled the Ospreys within 20-16 with 8:05 to play.
- The teams traded baskets with JU owning 27-22 lead before going on an 8-0 run to push its advantage to double digits at 35-22.
- Shepherd sailed a long jumper with 23 seconds left in the half to make it 35-24 halftime.
- Jacksonville eventually took its lead back to 17 to lead 43-26 before North Florida Jaiveonna Norris started a 13-2 run to close the score to 45-39.

- The Ospreys opened the final frame with a 10-4 run to tie the game at 55-all, but it was short lived as Jacksonville went on a 14-0 run over the next six minutes.
