JACKSONVILLE -Â It was a disappointing afternoon for North Florida men's tennis as South Alabama grabbed the 4-3 win on Sunday afternoon at the UNF Tennis Courts.
QUICK HITS
- North Florida grabbed its 10th straight doubles point with wins in the No. 1 and No. 3 spots.Â
- It is the fourth straight win for Jefta Kecic and Jack Findel-Hawkins in doubles and second straight for Lasse Muscheites and Yannick Zuern.
- Sophomore Sahil Deshmukh bounced back from a set down to come back and win his fourth straight singles match.
- UNF led 2-0 before the Jags grabbed a win in the No. 3 spot.Â
- Deshmukh then put UNF ahead 3-1, but it was the last victory as South Alabama sealed its victory with wins at No. 2, No. 6 and No. 1 to close it up.
