Four Players Score in Double Digits in Win at FAMU

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Four players scored in double figures en route to the North Florida women's basketball 77-68 victory at Florida A&M on Sunday afternoon at the Al Lawson Center.

- Sophomore Adrienne Jackson became the seventh Osprey to record six three-pointers in a game as she tallied a game-high 18 points. She shot just one regular field goal on a 6-for-9 outing for the day.
- Reigning ASUNÂ Newcomer of the Week Keonna Farmer hit double digits for the sixth time this season with 14 points, while grabbing a team-best six rebounds and grabbing up four steals.
- Joining in double figures were Ty Purifoy and Tiffany Tolbert with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Purifoy also topped the team with a season-best seven assists.
- For just the third time this season, North Florida took more than 20 free throws and sank 22 of 32 against the Rattlers.

First Half Trends
- It was a slow start for the Ospreys who were down 11-2 with 5:44 on the clock before going on a 14-5 run pushing the UNF ahead 15-14 at the quarter break.
- Florida A&M tied it two times in the early goings of the second quarter, but a three-point from Jackson with 4:24 remaining in the stanza gave the Ospreys a lead it never gave up.
- UNF eventually took a 38-34 lead into halftime.
Second Half Trends
- North Florida started the second half on a 10-4 run to take a double figure lead at 48-38 thanks to back-to-back triples from Jackson.
- It was short lived though as Florida A&M went on an 8-0 run to close the lead to 48-46, but it was as close as the Rattlers would get as North Florida eventually pulled ahead by 15, and took a 65-50 lead into the final quarter.
- The home team tried to make a comeback as it got to within nine twice in the final frame, but North Florida fended FAMUÂ off each time to grab the win.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
- UNF outscored the hosts in each quarter except for the fourth.
- After Florida A&M held a 19-18 edge off the glass at halftime, North Florida went on to own the 36-30 advantage for the game. It is just the third time this season that the Ospreys owned the margin.
- Ta'Kyla Austin was the only other Osprey to make a three-pointer as she went 1-for-3 from long range and totaled seven points.Â
- Junior Hadley Kiefer saw time for the first time since December 2016.
