JACKSONVILLEÂ - North Florida women's basketball fell behind early and never recovered as Monmouth topped the Ospreys, 67-57, on Saturday afternoon in the final game of the Fairfield Inn & Suites Thanksgiving Classic at Jacksonville's Swisher Gymnasium.

- Senior Tesh Hanson led the team with 16 points, while also pulling down seven rebounds.
- Classmate Keonna Farmer grabbed a double-double for the second time this season with 10Â points and 10 rebounds. She also picked up three steals.
- Senior Maiya Rumph missed a double-double by one board as she had 10 points and nine rebounds including six of the offensive kind.

First Half Trends
- After setting the free throw record against Webber on Friday, North Florida struggled from the line with a 1-for-9 outing in the opening 20 minutes.
- UNF trailed early in the first and it never regained momentum as Monmouth held the 33-19 lead at the break.
- The Hawks held the Ospreys scoreless from long range, while hitting 2-of-5 for themselves.
Second Half Trends
- Out of the break, Monmouth took its biggest lead of the game on a three-pointer before the Ospreys got back within 38-25 with 7:27 to play.
- Despite UNF outscoring the Hawks in the third quarter, 17-15, the closest it would get was 48-36 at the end of the third.
- In the final frame, North Florida worked its way to a single-digit deficit, 61-53, on a lay up from Emanuel-Wright with 1:24 to play.
