The short story:Â With four of five golfers carding better rounds on day two, the North Florida women's golf team trimmed four strokes off their opening round total at the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Monday. Senior Courtney Cobb again paced the squad, shooting a 76.

- Sophomore Sydney Shrader carded a second round 79 to climb into a tie for 68th at 160
- Freshman Mindy Herrick is one shot behind Shrader at 161 in a tie for 73rd after an 83, while sophomore Teresa Conroy matched Shrader's round of 79 on Tuesday to end the day tied for 77th (163)
