The short story:Â Bolstered by a new program record tournament total of 868, the North Florida women's golf team collected a fifth-place finish at the Pinehurst Challenge on Tuesday. UNF had a pair of Top 25 individual finishers led by Teresa Conroy in a tie for 19th at 1-under 215.

FIRST TEE
- Ospreys fired a final round 292 en route to the record total, which bettered the previous mark by nine strokes
- Freshman Mindy Herrick paced the squad on the final day, shooting a career low 2-under 70, to finish T38 with a total of 220Â
- Sophomore Teresa Conroy was the team's top finisher earning a T19 (215) following a final round 73
- Fellow sophomore Sydney Shrader also carded a final round 73 to finish at even-par 216 (T22)

- UNF set single round (284) and tournament total (868) records at the event
- All five Ospreys netted season low rounds during the event
- Ospreys recorded 171 pars over the 54 hole competition led by 42 from Conroy, which topped the tournament field
- North Florida collected 42 birdies in three rounds with Cobb and Shrader both tallying 10 to lead the team
- UNF finished second in the field for Par 3 scoring at +5 (3.11 avg)... Herrick was tied for 1st in the field on Par 3s at 2-under (2.78 avg)
- Jacksonville State's Valentina Giraldo claimed the medalist crown with a three-round total of 208 (-8)
