BUIES CREEK, N.C. – In the final dual meet of the 2016-17 season, North Florida swimming fell to fellow CCSA foe, Campbell, 134-66. The Ospreys will shift their focus to CCSA Championships Feb. 15-18 in Athens, Ga.

Meet Notes
So Close: Senior
Angel Morrison was .18 seconds away from a victory in the 100 backstroke but was Just out-touched by Karah Sizemore of Campbell who won the race with a time of 1:00.45.
Backstroke Trio: To compliment Morrison's near victory, her teammates
Kaleigh Newcomb (1:00.65) and
Jacqueline Barklund (1:01.09) finished the race in third and fourth place respectively. Morrison's time of 1:00.63 edged Newcomb by .02 seconds. Barklund owns the team's best time of the season, 56.77, swam at the Panther Invite back in November.
First Timer: In her first attempt at the 200 Freestyle this season,
Shelby Panter placed fourth behind teammate
Sarah Frantz with a time of 2:04.80. Frantz was the Ospreys top finisher in the event, reaching the wall with a time of 2:04.05.
All-Time Series: The Camels have now won six-straight meets against the Ospreys but North Florida still owns a slim 8-6 lead in the all-time series that began in 2004.

The Ospreys will have 17 days to prep for CCSA Championships beginning Feb. 15 in Athens, Ga. Last season the Ospreys scored 470 points at the meet, the second most since joining the conference in 2008.
