The Ospreys took the lead for good in the 72nd minute on play started on an Osprey throw-in attempt. Wasser threw it to the feet of Bredeau deep in the Hornet zone. Bredeau played the ball right back to Wasser who then served it right into the box to a waiting Katy Mixon for the game-winning score.

Bredeau totaled seven points (3g, 1a) in the contest, a new North Florida D-1 era (2006-present) single-game record. Wasser and Collubiale each had two assists, tied for the second most in a single-game in the Ospreys D-1 era.

From Coach Confer
On the comeback win:
"It certainly wasn't the way we drew it up but I'm proud of our team for fighting back after being down 3-1 at the half. We challenged our players at halftime and some players stepped up and had a big second half for us."
On her goal scorers:
"AB finished off three great chances and it was nice for Sarah and Katy to get their first goals of the season. Hopefully they can use this as a building block for the rest of the season."
Â
Up Next: The Ospreys will hit the road for matches at Furman (Friday) and Presbyterian (Sunday) next weekend.
