JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis hosts former Atlantic Sun rival ETSU on Wednesday, March 9 at 4:30 p.m. at the UNF Tennis Courts. Admission is free and there will be free pizza and ice cream.

North Florida has faced a very tough schedule in the early part of the season. Eight of the Ospreys' opponents have been nationally ranked with a 3-5 mark in those matchups. Reigning Atlantic Sun Player of the Week Yannick Zuern leads the 3-7 Ospreys. Zuern, who boasts a 13-10 record in singles this spring, went undefeated in a pair matches against ranked opponents last weekend to claim the award. Along with Zuern, Jack Findel-Hawkins currently ranks No. 105 in singles competition, but sat out against LSU and South Alabama.

The 67th-ranked Bucs is 5-5 with all five of the losses coming against nationally ranked teams. ETSU, who is currently riding a two-match winning streak, have won five of its last seven matches. The Bucs have a singles player and a doubles duo ranked in the latest Oracle/ITA Rankings. In singles, David Biosca is ranked No. 76 in nation after posting 6-4 overall record, including a 1-2 against nationally ranked players. Biosca is also a part of ETSU's No. 47 doubles tandem with Rogerio Ribeiro.

UNF own a 3-2 mark in the last five meetings - last winning 4-0 at the Tennessee Spring Invitational in 2015. ETSU beat the Ospreys in the 2013 Atlantic Sun Conference Championship to earn a bid to the NCAA in its final year of Atlantic Sun Competition.

After ETSU, the Ospreys open conference play on Saturday, March 12 at 1 p.m. at USC Upstate. They then take a break to return to non-conference action against Troy on Tuesday, March 15 in Alabama.
