@OspreyMTen Set to Play Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Tuesday

JACKSONVILLE - No. 66 North Florida men's tennis prepares for its first match in more than a week as it welcomes Louisiana Lafayette to the UNF Tennis Courts on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

The Ospreys are currently 2-4 on the season after playing six straight matches against nationally-ranked teams. UNF edged out No. 47 Cornell on January 28, but could not overcome No. 15 Columbia on Saturday, Jan. 30. Two-time 2016 A-Sun Player of the Week Jack Findel-Hawkins is pacing the team in singles competition with a 4-1 mark, his lone loss coming against Shawn Hadavi of Columbia. With doubles partner, Yannich Zuern, the duo has a 2-1 mark in dual matches and a 10-4 record for the season.

Louisiana is currently 3-3 on the season and dropped a 4-1 decision to UCF on Sunday. Currently, Arthur Libaud, Coleman Wahlborg and Vlad Karamov all own 2-1 marks in their respective singles spots. Eric Perez is undefeated in No. 6 singles with two victories. Wahlborg earned All Sun Belt honors a season ago with senior Edgar Lopez. Libaud and partner Will Huyton are currently ranked sixth in the ITA Southern Rankings.

The two teams have faced off twice before the UNF taking the victories both times. The Ospreys shut out the Ragin' Cajuns, 4-0, at the Seminole Invitational in January 2015.

This match is the final home match for the month of February. The Ospreys head out on a three-game road swing beginning on Saturday, Feb. 13.
