JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida Softball team heads to Lake Buena Vista, Fla. this weekend for five games as part of the Disney Citrus Classic, hosted at the Wide World of Sports.
The Ospreys will face Bryant and Fordham on Friday, East Carolina and Notre Dame on Saturday, and will close with Penn State on Sunday.
North Florida's offense is led by freshman
Navia Penrod, who leads the team and ranks 10
th in the conference in batting average (.382). Senior
Katie Mandigo adds a .333 average, while
Shelby Duncan adds three doubles.
The Ospreys' pitching staff is led by junior
Logan Green, who ranks second in the conference in innings pitched, while sporting a 2.25 ERA, which ranks ninth in the conference.
