ATHENS, Ga. - Amidst a slew of more school records that fell on the final day of the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Swim Championships, Head Coach Ian Coffey was named co-Coach of the Year after the second highest team point total in school history and a 146-point improvement from last year's score.

"These girls worked hard all year, they did this as a team and through everything they were all there for each other," said Coffey. "I'm extremely proud of their effort not only this week but throughout the season.

In her last meet as an Osprey, senior Amy Taylor went out with a bang, breaking three more school records and her fourth place finish in the 200 butterfly, the highest of any Osprey in the four-day meet. She began the day by breaking her own school record in the 200 butterfly in the morning preliminaries with a time of 2:02.45. In the evening finals she re-broke her own record with a time of 2:02.05.

She later went on to break the school record in the 1650 freestyle (16:57.58) and in the process erased her own 1000 freestyle record with a time of 10:13.34. She placed fifth overall in the event, her third top-5 finish of the meet.

In total, five new individual records were established to go along with three new relay records that were established in the meet.

Freshman Kaleigh Newcomb entered her fifth time in the UNF top-10 list with a time of 2:04.38 in the 200 backstroke, the eighth fastest in school history. Classmate Emily Draskovich put together the eight fastest time in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:05.72.

The Ospreys placed eighth overall in the meet with 470 points, just 10 shy of the school record set back in 2010.
