Box Score 2 MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. – The North Florida Softball team completed their first day of competition at the Madeira Beach Invitational, falling to Providence 3-0 and Georgia Southern 2-0.
Note: The full box score from the Ospreys game against Providence will be added later. In the first game of the day, Providence took the early lead in the second inning with a solo home run. The Friars added another run in the third before pushing the lead to 3-0 in the top of the seventh.

Katie Mandigo provided the hits for the Ospreys, with Duncan earning her second double of the season.
In the second game of the day, Georgia Southern took the lead in the second inning with a solo home run before pushing the lead to 2-0 in the fourth on a sacrifice fly.
The Ospreys only mustered one hit in the contest by junior
Ashia Kerr. Junior
Katie Beth Gordon threw a complete game in the circle, allowing just five hits while striking out two.
The Ospreys play one game tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. against Villanova.
