The Ospreys pulled within a goal with a little under 13 minutes to play in the first half when freshman Brandi Walker fired a shot that fit neatly under the crossbar. She force a Stetson turnover on the Osprey attacking end and was credited with her first collegiate goal. She became the eighth different Osprey to tally a goal this season.
The Hatters began their three-goal, second-half run in the blink of an eye. Briana Camargo scored Stetson's third goal of the day just 11 seconds into the second half to take a 3-1 lead. The Ospreys took little time to respond and once again make it a one-goal game on Alexis Bredeau's sixth goal of the season less than two minutes later. The goal came after a fantastic individual effort to get to the goal and was setup by Walker in the midfield. Her six goals on the year are the most by an Osprey since 2013.
