JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida (5-3-1, 1-0 ASUN) and Jacksonville (5-6, 1-2 ASUN) will clash on Friday night in the annual River City Rumble at Hodges Stadium. Prior to the 7:00 p.m. kickoff, the Ospreys will honor its six seniors in a special pregame ceremony.

Promotions: The first 100 students who arrive will receive a free t-shirt. Fans are also encouraged to participate in Zeta Tau Alpha's "Think Pink" campaign by wearing pink. Information on how to further help the cause will be available at the front gate.

Match Notes
Hurricane Aftermath:  The Ospreys and FGCU are the only two teams in the ASUN with only one conference game played. North Florida had its game last Saturday against NJIT postponed due to Hurricane Matthew and will make-up the game on Oct. 26 at 1:00 p.m. The Ospreys come into Friday night without playing a game in the previous 12 days.

Dominance at Home: The Ospreys are 3-0-1 this season at Hodges Stadium and are unbeaten in their last 11 games at home. The last loss to an ASUN opponent at Hodges Stadium was on Oct. 18, 2014 in a 1-0 setback against Lipscomb. In the past two seasons, the Ospreys are 7-1-1 at home against ASUN opponents.

Right Direction: The Ospreys got off on the right foot back on Oct. 1 kicking off ASUN play with a 3-0 win over Lipscomb. Senior Andrey Rosales scored the first two goals of the game and the first two of his career in the victory. Goalkeeper Juanes Fajardo played the final 45 minutes and made two penalty shot saves to preserve the second Osprey shutout of the season. Fajardo went on to earn ASUN Defensive Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career.
In the Polls: Although idle last week, the Ospreys dropped a spot in the NSCAA Southeast regional poll to No. 8. North Florida and FGCU (No. 1) are the only two ASUN teams ranked regionally. The Ospreys did however move up three spots to No. 65 in the latest NCAA RPI, the highest among any ASUN team.

National Ranks: Coming into Friday's contest, the Ospreys boast the country's 25th ranked scoring offense, averaging 1.89 goals per game.  In goal, Juanes Fajardo has the league's lowest goals against average at 0.80 and ranks 43rd nationally.

Rumble Notes: In a rivalry that dates back to 1994, Jacksonville holds a slight, 8-10-1 edge in the all-time series. The Ospreys however have won the last two meetings including last year's 1-0 road win. A total of 12 of the 21 matches have been decided by one goal while two have gone to overtime. North Florida senior Jay Bolt has an assist in the last two games against Jacksonville while classmate Sylwester Szczesniewicz scored the lone Osprey goal in the 1-1 tie back in the 2013 meeting.

About Jacksonville: The Dolphins have stumbled out of the gates in ASUN play having lost two of their first three games. They fell victim to NJIT in a 1-0 defeat at home on Sept. 21 and two weeks ago lost to USC Upstate 1-0. Jacksonville did emerge victorious in overtime on the road at Lipscomb when Igor Ferreira scored the game-winner in the second overtime. The Dolphins also had last week's game cancelled but only have an eight-day layoff with a 1-0 win over FAU on Oct. 4. Through 11 games, freshman Kai Bennett leads the team in scoring with four on the season, all coming in a three game win streak that included defeats of UNC Ashevlle, Georgia Southern and USF.
