Amy Taylor entered a time in the program's all-time top 10 list.
Taylor won the very first individual race of the day, taking first place in the 1650 freestyle. Her time of 17:14.87 was the fourth fastest ever by a North Florida swimmer. She now owns five of the 10 fastest times in school history in the 1650 freestyle. She was just off her season best time in the 100 fly, hitting the wall with a time of 57.88.
Junior
Cara Maxwell established a new career best, with a time of 2:44.60 in the 200 breaststroke and put forth a new season best in the 100 breastroke with a time of 1:14.13.
Coming off a strong performance at the Florida Tech Invite in November,
Chase Walker turned in times of 24.99 and 54.29 in the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle respectively.
In the final relay of the afternoon, the combination of Taylor,
Taylor Schmidinger,
Emily Draskovich and
Kiana Albert swam the third-fastest 200 freestyle relay time of the season for the Ospreys.
The Ospreys final dual meet of the season will take place next Saturday in Nashville in a tri-meet with Vanderbilt and Marshall.
