JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida Women's Soccer team hits the road for the weekend, facing Elon this Friday and High Point on Sunday.
 
The Ospreys (1-2-0) fell to Presbyterian in overtime last Friday 1-0, their match Sunday against Georgia State was cancelled after halftime and ruled a no contest.
 
"Practice this week has been good and we are looking forward to heading up to North Carolina to play two good teams in Elon and High Point," says coach Robin Confer. "We have to be organized and ready and our energy has been good in practice."
 
Elon comes into Friday's match at 2-1-0 following a win against Chattanooga on Sunday. High Point, who played in last year's NCAA Tournament, are 2-0-2 and face A-Sun conference member Stetson on Friday before facing the Ospreys.
 
"We've been creating a lot of chances; we just have to put it in the back of the net. Both of these teams are organized so we need to play sharp and play the way we know we are capable of," added Confer. "It'll be a tough weekend for sure but we are ready."
 
Friday's match will have live stats available, while Sunday's match will have both live stats and a live stream.
