JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Top-seeded University of North Florida women's tennis posted a dominant 4-0 shutout of No. 4 seeded Lipscomb at the UNF Tennis Complex in Saturday's Atlantic Sun Tournament semifinals in order to advance to Sunday's Championship Match. The Ospreys face No. 3 Florida Gulf Coast for the tournament title and an NCAA Tournament berth on Sunday. Anticipated start time is set for 11 a.m., after the men's semifinal matches are finished.

UNF went up 1-0 after winning the doubles point. Quetzali Vazquez and Marina Cunningham cruised past Hannah Gamage and Danielle Kinnen 8-2 at No. 3 doubles. Luise Intert and Rebeca Pereira clinched the doubles point for the Ospreys with an 8-3 triumph over Jenny Borck and Deahna Welcher.

The Ospreys got three quick singles points in order to win the match. Cunningham blanked Borck in a 6-0, 6-0 straight-set match at No. 5 singles to give UNF the two-point advantage. UNF gained a 3-0 lead after Zuniga stormed past Gamage 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles. Michielle Valdez's 6-2, 6-1 victory over Welcher on the No. 2 court sealed the match win.

UNF trip to Sunday's Championship is the Ospreys' fifth time in six years to the title match. However, it is the first time UNF plays Florida Gulf Coast in any round of the Atlantic Sun Tournament. Florida Gulf Coast reached Sunday's match by defeating No. 2 Stetson 4-1 in Saturday's other semifinal.
