SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The North Florida softball team continues their road trip through South Carolina with a three-game Atlantic Sun Conference series with USC Upstate this Saturday and Sunday.
The Ospreys (21-15, 3-3 A-Sun) are coming off of a doubleheader Thursday night with South Carolina, they lost the first contest 8-0 in five innings and the second game 5-2.
The Spartans (22-6, 5-1 A-Sun) are coming off of a split doubleheader with NC State.
Junior
Shelby Duncan looks to stay consistent at the plate, she is currently tied for sixth in the conference in batting average (.403) and is tied for the league-lead in doubles (11).
Senior
Kayla Goff leads the Ospreys in the pitcher's circle. Goff is second in the conference in ERA (2.27) and ranks fourth in strikeouts (75).
The series starts Saturday with a doubleheader scheduled for 1 p.m. and concludes Sunday with a single-game matchup scheduled for 1 p.m.
