Atlantic Sun Season Starts for No. 69 @OspreyMTEN at Lipscomb and Northern Kentucky

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – No. 69 University of North Florida men's tennis continues with a five-match road swing, traveling to Lipscomb and Northern Kentucky for the start of the Atlantic Sun Conference season.

UNF's five-match road stretch is its second-longest spurt away from the UNF Tennis Complex this season. The Ospreys started the spring with six matches away from their home courts.

The Ospreys are the only Atlantic Sun team with double-digit victories so far this season, coming into the weekend with an 11-4 record. However, the Ospreys look to rebound from a 1-2 outing at last weekend's 2015 USF Spring Break Invitational that resulted in UNF dropping to No. 69 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Team Rankings on Tuesday. UNF's only win at the tournament was a 4-0 shutout of Furman in the consolation semifinals. The Ospreys suffered 4-1 losses to both No. 63 Tulane and No. 25 Drake.

Lipscomb has three home matches in four days and begins that span on Wednesday against North Alabama and ends it on Saturday against Kentucky. The Bisons are 8-6 this spring, but are just 3-0 at home thus far.

Northern Kentucky is 4-5 on the season and returns home for just one match after being on the road for the last five weeks. UNF will be just the third ranked team the Norse have faced this season as Northern Kentucky has already played No. 5 Ohio State (Jan. 18) and No. 27 Kentucky (Feb. 14).

Currently, UNF is scheduled to play Lipscomb on Thursday at 3 p.m., EST, and Northern Kentucky on Friday at 11 a.m. Weather could alter this weekend's schedule, so check back to www.UNFOspreys.com for the latest information.
