In the opening set neither team would hold larger than a three-point advantage until a slight surge for Lipscomb gave them a 19-14 lead. The Ospreys would trim the margin to just two before the Bisons closed out the frame for the early 1-0 lead.
The lead in set two again seesawed back-and-forth with the squads staying within three of each other for the entire stanza. UNF trailed 21-18 before tying the score and 22 and 23, but Lipscomb tallied a pair of late kills to edge past the Ospreys for the set win.
