JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida Volleyball team swept Kennesaw State 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-23) Friday night at UNF Arena.
The Ospreys move to fifth in the Atlantic Sun standings (20-10, 6-7 A-Sun) and have secured a spot in the conference postseason tournament.
North Florida utilized a run of five straight points or more in each set to pull away from the Owls, who currently sit at third in the conference.
The Ospreys hit .254, with sophomore
Courtney Miller leading the way, hitting .360 with 13 kills. Junior
Abby Fesl led the way for the setters with 25 assists, while sophomore
Carinne Turner added 15 assists.
Other offensive highlights include senior
Ambre Desaulnay with 11 kills and a hit percentage of .286.
Defensively, freshman
Ashley LaBorde led the back line with 25 digs.
