SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The University of North Florida men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 match to Wofford on the road in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday night. The Ospreys finish the nonconference schedule 4-2-1 – tied for the third most wins in UNF's Division I history.

Goalie Brad Sienkiewicz took the loss for the Ospreys. The graduate student allowed a pair of goals in the match, posting five saves. He was able to keep the match close despite battling an offensive attack by Wofford of 19 shots, including seven shots on goal.

Offensively, North Florida recorded four shots, including two shots on goal. C.J. Mealer, Jean Rivaroli, Sylwester Szczesniewicz and Sean Young each had a shot on the night. Both Szczesniewicz and Young's shots were on goal.

Wofford took an early lead, scoring a goal in the first half. The Terriers' Charlie Keeley put the hosts on the scoreboard with a goal in the 30th minute. C. Dominguez-Gonzalez and Connor Davis were credited with the assist on the goal.

The Terriers added an insurance goal in the second half. In the 70th minute, Davis converted a header inside the six-yard box off of a long pass from Billy Padula.

North Florida begins Atlantic Sun Conference play on Friday, Oct. 4, as the Ospreys host East Tennessee State at Patton Park.Â
