
#MSOC Meets Mercer Saturday Night

MACON, Ga. -- The North Florida men's soccer team opens the second half of its Atlantic Sun Conference schedule Saturday night at Mercer at 7 p.m.
The Ospreys, 4-5-2 overall and 0-3-1 in conference play, look to end their current six-game winless streak. UNF has been highly competitive during the current stretch posting a tie and four tough one-goal losses including a 4-3 decision last Saturday versus USC Upstate.
Against the Spartans, sophomore Jean Rivaroli doubled his team-leading point total by notching a pair of goals and an assist. Rivaroli leads the Ospreys with four goals this season.
Mercer carries a five-game winless streak into Saturday's tilt having last posted a win on Oct. 4 against Upstate (3-1). The Bears fell 1-0 at Stetson their last time on the pitch. Ehjayson Henry tops the MU attack with six goals on the year.
The Bears own a 5-3-1 advantage in the all-time series with wins in the last two meetings. The Ospreys last win over Mercer came on Oct. 21, 2010 with a 2-1 overtime decision in Hodges Stadium.
Following the game at Mercer, North Florida closes its regular season schedule with three games in Jacksonville. UNF hosts Stetson on Nov. 2 before playing at Jacksonville (Nov. 6) and closing the year at home versus FGCU (Nov. 9).
