JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The North Florida basketball team closes the first half of their Atlantic Sun schedule at East Tennessee State on Saturday at 4 p.m.
The Ospreys (8-13, 3-5 ASun) look to halt their current two-game skid after dropping a hard fought decision at USC Upstate on Thursday. ETSU (10-10, 3-4) also enters the contest after a loss falling 83-80 to Jacksonville.
UNF and ETSU will be meeting for the 16th time with the Bucs owning a 14-1 advantage in the all-time series. ETSU has claimed the last three meetings between the pair and owns a perfect 7-0 mark against the Ospreys in the Minidome.
Parker Smith continues to lead UNF and rank among the league's top scorers at 16.4 points a game. Travis Wallace also provides the Ospreys double digits at 14.7 ppg and is the squad's top rebounder at 5.2 boards a contest. Will Wilson leads the conference in assists handing out 6.9 per game.
The Buccaneers are paced by the duo of Lester Wilson (15.5 ppg) and Jarvis Jones (14.2 ppg). Wilson is ETSU's top rebounder (5.5 rpg) and leads the team with 54 three-pointers made.
