MANHATTAN, Kan. – The North Florida basketball plays its third consecutive road game Sunday as the Ospreys visit Kansas State for a 1 p.m. (CT) tip at Bramlage Coliseum.
UNF (1-2) looks to rebound from a disappointing 54-47 loss at Savannah State on Wednesday night. The Wildcats are a perfect 3-0 having played all their games this season at home.
Sunday's contest marks the third all-time meeting between UNF and KSU with the pair having met in each of the previous two seasons. Last year's contest went to overtime with the Wildcats holding off an upset-minded Osprey squad for the 79-68 win.
In the last outing against Savannah State, senior Parker Smith collected his 10th straight double-figure performance scoring a team-best 17 points. Smith and fellow senior Jerron Granberry both surpassed 200 career three-pointers in the contest and currently share the UNF career mark with 201 each.
The game also features a match-up between brothers Andy and Adrian Diaz. Andy is a senior for the Ospreys while Adrian is a sophomore at K-State.
The game is slated to be televised live on Fox Sports Midwest and also carried on FOX College Sports. The game can be seen on DirecTV 671, Dish 418 and AT&T U-Verse 748.
Fans can also follow all the exciting action live on the radio on 1010 XL (AM), The Flagship Station of the UNF Sports Network, as well as online via the radio network link at www.1010xl.com. Real-time live stats are available on the official athletic department websites of UNF (www.unfospreys.com) and Kansas State (www.kstatesports.com).
Following Sunday's tilt, North Florida continues its road swing with a game Wednesday at Florida State (7 p.m.)
