Men’s Soccer to Host In-State Rival FAU

The University of North Florida men’s soccer team kicks off against Florida Atlantic on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 3 p.m. at Hodges Stadium.
“It's good to be back home,” head coach Ray Bunch commented. “Hopefully, we can have a great crowd. We had a great crowd at our last home match. FAU is an established team and will test us. It should be a good match. We are getting ready to start conference play and FAU will be a good test for us.”
The Ospreys are led by a trio of players on the offensive side of the ball. Senior midfielder Frank Dinzey, redshirt freshman midfielder Calvin Lowe and junior forward Adam O'Neill have each netted goals on the season for UNF. Dinzey and Lowe both have added assists on the year, while O'Neill leads the team in shots and shots on goal.
Defensively,
UNF enters the match with an 0-6-0 record, while FAU is 3-2-2 on the season. The Ospreys were edged by the Owls, 1-0, on Oct. 31, 2005, in the only other meeting between the two teams.

Single-game tickets for men's and women's soccer matches, volleyball matches and track and field meets will be $5 for adults and $3 for youth 17-and-under and senior citizens 55-and-older. Children 2-and-under and any current UNF student with a valid Osprey Card are admitted free. Student guest passes for those events are $3 and limited to one per student.
