UNF to Conclude Regular Season Tuesday Night

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After clinching a spot in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament with a win on Saturday night, the University of North Florida men's soccer team returns to Hodges Stadium for its final regular season match of the season against Georgia Southern on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m.

With the A-Sun Tournament berth secured, the Ospreys (4-11-1, 4-4-1 Atlantic Sun) step out of conference to take on the Eagles (0-14-1, 0-5-0 Southern). Last season UNF claimed a 1-0 victory over GSU in Statesboro, Ga. The Ospreys are 3-2-1 all-time against Georgia Southern.

At halftime of the match, North Florida will honor its seniors, Frank Dinzey, Matthew Hollyoak, Steven Lowenthal and David Pollard. In addition, junior Jordan Allerding will be recognized, as he is a senior academically and will forego his final season of eligibility.

The Ospreys are led by junior Adam O'Neill, who has a team-best 13 points on the season. O'Neill leads the team with six goals, two match-winning goals, 27 shots and 17 shots on goal.

Freshman Calvin Lowe is second on the team with seven points. Lowe boasts three goals and an assist. Dinzey and Hollyoak each have six points apiece. Dinzey has a pair of goals to go along with two helpers, while Hollyoak has a goal and four assists.

At goalkeeper, Jullian Beau has racked up 47 saves in 14 matches (3.4 per match). Beau has all four wins for UNF, including a shutout.

Following the match with Georgia Southern, North Florida will host Mercer in the first round of the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 6 p.m. at Hodges Stadium. Admission for the event is $5 for adults and $3 for students with valid identification, senior citizens (65 and older) and children (17 and younger). The first 300 UNF students with a valid ID are FREE.
