Women's teams score high on NCAA's APR report
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida women's cross country team, as well as its women's indoor and outdoor track teams, have been recognized by the NCAA and its Division I Academic Performance Program.
UNF is one of only 18 schools in the nation competing on the NCAA Division I level to have these three programs mentioned in a report that the NCAA released, recognizing academic progress, retention and graduation rate. Teams that posted multi-year APR scores in the top-10 percent of all squads in their respective sport were recognized in the report, with 712 teams overall earning recognition.
High performing teams receiving awards posted APR scores ranging from 965 to a perfect 1,000. UNF's cross country team earned a perfect score of 1,000, while both track teams posted scores of 993.

The APR provides a look at real-time academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of every NCAA student-athlete. The APR includes eligibility, retention and graduation in the calculation and provides a clear picture of the academic culture in each sport.
