Emily Eisenhower sweeps diving for second-straight meet

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Led by the dominating diving performance of junior Emily Eisenhower, the University of North Florida women's swimming and diving team defeated Campbell 147-83 while falling 145-97 to the College of Charleston on Saturday.

Eisenhower took first in both 1 and 3-meter diving for the second consecutive meet, posting a 228.07 in the 1-meter competition and a score of 259.95 in 3-meter. Junior Debbie Rapoza took second in both events.

The swimmers were led by first-place finishes from Megan Boudreau in the 200-freestyle, Patricia Lanoue in the 200-butterfly, LynAnn Nelson in the 500-freestyle and Emily Shaw in the 200-backstroke.

With the split, UNF is now 6-7 overall in duals and 4-3 in the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association. The Lady Ospreys will now prepare for the CCSA Championships, which are set to begin Thursday, Feb. 21 at a site to be determined and will run until Feb. 23.
